1955 Men's Hockey

The second St. Lawrence team to earn a spot in the NCAA tournament, the 1954-55 team established a record for wins in a season with 19...a mark which wasn't topped until the 1952-63 team won 20. Led by scoring leader Ron O'Brien, who scored 27 goals and had 55 points and goaltender Bill Sloan, who had a 2.58 goals against average in 25 games, the 1954-55 team lost a tough 2-1 decision in the NCAA semifinals to Colorado College with Harvard taking a 6-3 win in the consolation game.
